The Sparrowhawk Having missed its quarry………. ..the Sparrowhawk returned to its roadside observation post.
Curious Roe Deer Like many wild creatures when disturbed, this Roe Deer Hind ran then stopped and turned back for a look.
A very warm day. Having washed in the pond the resident male Blackbird finds a sheltered spot to sunbathe and dry off!
Damselflies – are seen frequently around the Loch in the warmer weather. Common Blue – male. ( between 4cm – 5cm in length.) Common Blue – female (between 5cm – 6cm in length).
The Grey Heron. A pair of Herons feed between Lily Loch, Corby Loch and the small nearby pools. This one was ‘fishing’ at the roadside pool.
