.…. the good news is the remaining two cygnets, which went ‘missing’ over two weeks ago, presumed killed, re-appeared last Monday week ‘hanging their heads in shame’! As they are not able to fly yet they had probably been walked through to Lily Loch some one hundred metres west of Corby and failed to return with their parents! So at present we are back to two surviving out of the original six!
… sadly there is now a gap where ….… these two should be. They disappeared ten days ago and have not been seen since. So all six of this years cygnets are missing presumably taken by predators.
