Whoopers are still with us!

There are a few Whooper Swans left on the Loch, shortly to be heading back north for the summer.They will appear again in the autumn migrating south for the winter.

Garden Visitors

A small flock of Long Tailed Tits are infrequent visitors to the bird feeders.

A small bird with a tail often longer than its body. (The gap in the fence boards is 40mm!)

DUMPING RUBBISH (fly-tipping.)

One of the scourges of the countryside – fly-tipping of rubbish to avoid paying for disposal. This was ‘left’ on the track to the quarry – another totally irresponsible act.
